Overview

- Years of daily use: Both the receiving frame and carrier are rated for 50,000 insertion cycles. At 5 cycles per day that's over 27 years of reliable, working hardware! We accomplish this by using durable Hirose connectors and mounting recessed connectors on the frames to protect the host connection.
- OS agnostic: Swapping drives works between different operating systems when both OS's support the format of the drive.
- Lockable: Physically lock your drive into place for extra security.
The SATA 6G-based DP27 replaces 9.5mm DVD drives in laptops and desktops and comes with a DP27 carrier into which you can install any 7mm SATA SSD to make your data easily removable.
